Joshua Larson, MS, RRT- NPS is the Health Information Manager at PHS. Originally joining PHS in 1995 as a Respiratory Therapist for 4 years, Josh left in 1999 and spent 5 years working as an independent contracted Respiratory Therapist with home health agencies such as Beckland Home Health, Intrepid and Regency. Josh returned to PHS in 2005 once again as a Respiratory Therapist and soon after made the transition into the role of PHS’s Accreditation Coordinator, ensuring business procedures and policies aligned with regulations from accrediting organizations. Josh’s core responsibilities now include the areas of: patient records, document control, coding, billing compliance, and our health information systems.
Josh has his Masters in Health Informatics and Information Management from the College of St. Scholastica, he also received his undergrad from Metropolitan State University in Health Care Administration and his Respiratory Therapy degree from Northern Virginia Community College.
