Judy Giel, RRT, CRTT, is Senior Vice President, Clinical Services. She directs and coordinates the activities of Respiratory Service, Infusion Service, Chronic Disease Service, Nutrition Service, Social Service, Pharmacy and Education. A licensed respiratory therapist and certified respiratory therapy technician, she has more than 30 years of experience in respiratory care and clinical services. She is a subject-matter expert in respiratory and infusion therapy, and chronic disease management in children.
A member of the senior management leadership team, Judy joined PHS in 1997 as vice president, respiratory service. Before assuming her present position, she served as vice president, sales, and senior vice president, operations. She previously held several senior executive positions in clinical services and respiratory therapy care in hospitals, including executive director of Regional Kidney Disease Program; general manager and sales manager of Caremark (home infusion); district manager of Glasrock (home medical equipment); center manager of Baxter (home respiratory/medical equipment); administrative director, respiratory care of East Jefferson General Hospital, Metairie, La., and director of respiratory care of Mercy Hospital, New Orleans, La. She also worked in the respiratory therapy department of Mount Sinai Hospital, Minneapolis.
