Susan Wingert is CEO of Pediatric Home Service. A visionary and pioneer, Susan recognized a need for high tech pediatric homecare and built an organization dedicated to meeting that need. Pediatric Home Service was established in 1990.
The independent company provides specialized health care services to technology-supported children and their families in their homes, while recognizing the differing needs of infants, children and adolescents. PHS works with health care professionals, payers and family caregivers to ensure the continuity of care, one child at a time.
A respiratory therapist by training, Susan has 30 years of experience in respiratory care and clinical services. She is a graduate of St. Mary’s, now St. Catherine’s, in St. Paul, Minn. Prior to founding PHS, she held sales and director positions with home health care organizations, including Glasrock Home Health Care, Travenol Home Respiratory, and Waconia Ridgeview Hospital.
Susan recently transitioned from President to CEO to focus on advocacy, legislative and policy issues relative to pediatric home health care, while Mark Hamman has taken over the day-to-day operations of PHS as President.
