About Us

We are partners in caring for the child and over the years we have developed an excellent professional rapport with physicians as well as with the case management teams in the private and public sector. Our care involves more than just health care services – thoughtful care comes from all of our staff members to help with various issues such as navigating insurance questions or simply offer a hug of support when things get overwhelming.

We work together with health care professionals, payers, and family caregivers – ensuring the continuity of care, one child at a time. We are an independent pediatric home care company, and we exist because children do. In recent years, because of the high cost of inpatient hospital care, the homecare industry has seen an increase in technology-dependent children being discharged to the home environment. PHS believed the healthcare industry needed a solution to meet the unique needs of home-bound technology-supported children.

We are dedicated to quality service for the medically fragile child. We service our patients based on each child’s specific needs to develop their potential through clinical education and technical support. We believe it takes more than health care to take care of the child; it takes care from the heart and that means having the experience of working with children, with families, and with the health care system to anticipate and help with the expected, and the unexpected.

Sharing Care

Philanthropy has been part of the PHS culture since opening our doors for business in 1990. In 2008, Sharing Care was created to:

  • Take our charitable giving one step further
  • Encourage generosity
  • Align our charitable giving with our mission to take care of the child
  • Provide PHS employees the opportunity to donate time to programs and events in the community that are directly associated with serving medically fragile and underprivileged children

We believe that strong communities come from strong support and leaders. Sharing Care is committed to sticking with the PHS vision of making a difference in the lives of the families we serve and expanding that vision to include those in our local community. Through financial contributions, in-kind donations and volunteerism, Sharing Care supports initiatives focused on enhancing opportunities for children in the community we serve.
