Letting Emily be Emily and her family be a family

Seeing Emily today, it’s hard to believe she was ever as sick as she was. “Look at her,” beams proud mom, Janita Mclean. “She’s just a normal nineyear-old girl.”
Able to do almost anything kids her age do, Emily is in dance, goes to school, runs around the house, plays with her friends, takes family trips to the lake, and loves to eat pizza....
