Shutdown: Critical care dilemma

Star Tribune interviewed PHS Director of HR Todd Ericson for an article on the impact the shutdown would have on in-home nurse employment. Health care agencies are required to get criminal background checks from the state before hiring. But a shutdown would suspend the checks and freeze hiring.
