Mental Health Counseling Gives Words To Feelings

PHS has been known for providing comprehensive care for children with medical complexities for over 25 years, and we recognize that this means caring for not only their physical needs, but emotional ones as well. Our mental health counseling options are tailored to fit the needs of each individual – whether a child, adolescent, or adult.

Our clinical social worker, Monica Handlos, MSW, LICSW, offers individual therapy, play therapy, and sibling support programs at the PHS office and spent some time talking about the importance of self care and mental health as we support Mental Health Awareness Month in May.
