Tips for Traveling With Medical Equipment & Supplies

We’re in the midst of those fleeting few months that come around every year – summer break, when the kids are out of school and schedules lend themselves to vacation and family fun. Maybe it’s a quick trip up north to visit a favorite state park, or a cross-country flight to get your toes in the ocean – there is so much to soak up in the summer months.

For families with children who require medical equipment and supplies to stay healthy, the idea of traveling can be daunting – but PHS respiratory therapist Steve Erickson and infusion nurse educator Jill Wall (who is also mother to a daughter with medical complexities) are here to give you the confidence to pack up your equipment and supplies, and take on any trip with ease.

Steve and Jill recorded a Facebook Live video on the Pediatric Home Service page to talk about their travel tips and tricks – whether by airplane or car – with a medical equipment and supplies. Check it out below!
