Umoja Global Improves Care in Tanzania
Philanthropy is an important part of the culture at PHS. So when we heard about the plans Umoja Global had in the works, we wanted to be involved the best way we knew how – by donating supplies.
Founded by Jennifer Wadsworth, Umoja Global is dedicated to improving local and global communities through education, health, and economic sustainability resources in Tanzania. This spring, she went to the village of Timbolo with a mission to improve maternal health care. We recently sat down with Jennifer to hear about the trip in her own words – hear what she had to say and see some pictures from her trip below!
