We measure outcomes to ensure our service reflects our dedication to outstanding care. From our ongoing patient satisfaction surveys to clinical outcomes studies, we actively evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Coordinated Multidisciplinary Care
From nursing and pharmacy to respiratory therapy to clinical nutrition, the care coordination model at PHS delivers the best possible support and offers the most comprehensive set of services dedicated to children with medical complexities.
Operational Excellence
We set the bar high for innovation in technology to support staff and patient families. MyPHS Portal offers families the opportunity to place monthly orders online, freeing up staff time for work that moves the needle in our care delivery.
Our supply chain team is optimized to support all patient needs across the country. Utilizing a variety of partners in distribution and shipping for fast and consistent access to supplies that keeps our patients at home and in their communities.
Advanced Professional Staff
We prioritize investing in our employees to support the growth and development in each individual. Leading the way for innovation in clinical training, the PHS Simulation Center supports the advancement of skills necessary to care for this complex population. PHS is invested in the confidence and competence of not only our staff but also in the ability of our teams to train family caregivers. In-house developed pediatric-specific educational offerings support in home caregivers in keeping their children safe and healthy at home.
Community Integration
Proactive engagement with legislative and payer audiences supports the ongoing access to care required by this small but critical population of children with medical complexities.
Making up only 1.4% of the overall pediatric population, children with medical complexities account for 82% of all pediatric hospital stays. PHS actively gives voice to this population. Communicating the value PHS delivers in getting kids home from the hospital and keeping them there is a critical component in advancing the home care industry and securing the future needs of this population.
