What is a PPEC/PDHC?
Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC), also known as Pediatric Day Health Centers (PDHC), provide nursing and therapy services to children with medical complexities in a safe, supportive, and developmentally focused environment.
For many families, this care model offers an alternative to in-home services, allowing children to receive skilled care while interacting with peers and hitting important developmental milestones.
