Mark Hamman Assumes Duties of Pediatric Home Service President

St. Paul, Minn. – Mark Hamman will be taking on the duties of Pediatric Home Service president, a title he has held for the past year while completing extensive training as part of the company’s succession planning. Hamman assumes the role of president as he succeeds his mother, Susan Wingert, Pediatric Home Service Founder, Owner and outgoing President.

Hamman, who joined Pediatric Home Service as a sales and contract manager in 2004, brings more than 14 years of experience in sales and more than seven years in the clinical services industry. He will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations, as well as help formulate and administer company policies and develop long-range goals and objectives.

While the change in leadership will be made official at Wingert’s succession celebration on June 24, the carefully planned transition has been years in the works to ensure continuity in the organization’s support services. Since 2009, Hamman has rotated through each of the company’s divisions, gaining a thorough understanding of the business and home-healthcare industry by assuming the duties of each senior-level department director for a three-month period.

“Experiencing every aspect of Pediatric Home Service’s operations has given me an invaluable opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the business,” said Hamman. “I’m excited to build on the success of the last 20 years by continuing our commitment to caring for kids where they belong – in their homes.”

The Pediatric Home Service succession celebration for Susan Wingert will be held on June 24 at International Market Square in Minneapolis, Minn. Susan will continue to act as a legislative advocate on behalf of the patients PHS serves and all children requiring home health care from the medical community.
