We’re Thankful to Provide Your Home Care Services

Thank you. And you. And you, too. All of us at PHS are so thankful to provide homecare services to your child and your family.

You are a great parent and caregiver

We understand that when you signed on for this adventure called parenting, you may not have envisioned your individual challenges—and you surely couldn’t have predicted the great rewards. Amongst the blessings we’ll count this Thanksgiving season:

  • You are determined students, as you learn about medications, supplies and so many other details vital to your child’s care.
  • You are inspiring teachers, showing your other children, neighbors and community members the value of compassion and patience.
  • You are valued partners in caring for your child, helping him or her thrive.
  • Your determination amidst setbacks and new challenges, despite the urge to be discouraged.
  • You have a timely sense of humor that makes us all smile.

You have amazing kids

When we signed on as PHS caregivers, we envisioned rewards of helping medically fragile children thrive at home through our homecare services. We couldn’t have imagined the memorable moments of independence, achievement—and timely hugs from your wonderful children. We will forever remember our own pride in your families’ accomplishments and your child’s amazing progress.

We are inspired by you and your children, and for that, we thank you.

Happy Thanksgiving to each of you.

What are you thankful for this season? What has most amazed you about your child this past year? What challenges have you overcome? We’d love to hear from you.

Thank you for asking. This holiday season, I’m thankful for the bond my children provide that keeps our family close and focused on what’s truly important in our lives and, except for the children, what’s most important cannot be held. These special children are given to special caregivers; the match is made perfect by a higher power. Happiness to all who’ve spent the year giving tirelessly of themselves.
