Pulmonetic LTV Ventilators

In this class you will learn the parts, tubing circuits, batteries, alarms, and parameter settings of a ventilator. The first three hours of the course will be conducted on the Trilogy ventilator, followed by an additional hour (at no additional fee) dedicated to the specifics of Pulmonetic LTV ventilators. You will have time for hands-on learning to assemble a tubing circuit, set ordered parameters, and troubleshoot basic ventilator operation.  

  • Three (3) contact hours will be awarded to all participants.
  • Special large group class arrangements on request.

Objectives: Following the presentation, you will be able to

1. Identify and operate the patient parameters of home ventilators.

2. Assemble and test the correct tubing circuit.

3. Apply the ventilator to a fictitious patient.

4. Troubleshoot simulated problems with the ventilator.
