PHS Resources are Here to Serve You

Kali_MomWhat’s one of the most critical pieces to a safe care plan? Attentive, knowledgeable and constant care from family caregivers. Part of our job is to do all we can to support our PHS families. You’ve already found the Thrive blog, now here are some of our other resources that we want to make sure you know about.

Homecare tips: Printed homecare tips on a wide range of topics go to families every month with their supply deliveries. You can also find all the past months tips on our website.

Multimedia resources: Visit this section of our website to find tips, troubleshooting, how-to videos, and presentations on everything from background about PHS to blending formula for tube feeding to organizing your medical supplies.

Education: PHS provides family caregivers with education, training and comprehensive materials translated into the most common languages spoken in the Twin Cities. Parents with no medical background are able to take on daily care responsibilities for their children. Find yourself needing education materials on a certain topic? Give our office a call at 651-642-1825 and ask for a clinician in the department you need materials from.

Want to take a class at PHS? We offer free classes in respiratory and infusion care for family members and caregivers of PHS patients. You can find the complete calendar (pictured above) and sign up information here!

Leave the topic here in the comments.
